Walls Part 2

Last time I talked to you guys it was about walls that we face that seem to big to come down.

This time I want to talk about walls that we are trying to build.

How many of you have ever been given a task that seems impossible?

Maybe it is raising children when you feel like you are just a kid your self, maybe it is following your dream, or maybe you are starting a new career and feel a little bit lost?

The Bible tells a story about a man who faced an overwhelming task

For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me. And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us. So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared. (‭Nehemiah‬ ‭4‬:‭18-21‬ KJV)

Nehemiah’s solution to building a wall he couldn’t build was to call people together around him.

Sometimes we are like the people in Jerusalem, we face a huge task and are all separated from each other so the task becomes to great for us to handle.

This is tough for me to admit because I am by nature to self confident. I try to build my life by myself but if we are ever going to succeed in life the only option is to take on our walls together.

Keep your family together
Keep your friends together
Keep your team together
Keep together with God

What do you guys think?
